Everyone always does the same thing, they always "forget" they important parts or people. No one ever realizes what they're overlooking or the fact that no matter how controversial it may be, people need to see both sides. Most people favor one side of the story. The more popular, and in this case less devastating side, that's easier to handle, easier to cover up and move on. Who would ever want to see a different side to the story when there's already been deemed an official and acceptable story.

I Am Something

Ascend Into Light Challenge

Prompt #4:

They took everything from me. They said I was nothing, well I'll show them wheat a nothing is capable of.

My name is Clarissa and I'm the woman that got screwed over as a child. No one saw both sides and then just seemed to forget about me. They never paid my side a second thought. There was no chance the small town of Carlson could have a pedophile in it and much less chance it could be the mayor and his four loonies. So now I'm became an outcast, a laughingstock.

Now it is two years later and I have succeeded in killing two of the loonies that assisted in molesting me… Mick and Randy. No matter how gruesome and horrible their deaths may be, it will never make up for what they have taken from me. They took everything from me. They said I was nothing, well I'll show them what a nothing is capable of more so than I already have. I'll show them that I am something.
