I woke up the next morning to George telling me to get dressed, we have to go to the hospital. I crawled out of bed slowly, and headed to the closet. I wasn't taking a shower. One, I was in to much pain, two, I needed bags over my casts in order to take one and three, George was in too much of a hurry. I changed, slowly and painfully and then rolled to the elevator. I hit the bottom floor and George ran, I mean literally ran to the car. I sat in and then waited for him to come in to ask him what's going on.
"George..."
"Yes River?" he said focusing on the road.
"What's the rush?"
"Well... they said that we had to be in the hospital all day, to take care of Shin. Plus we needed to be there in ten minutes." He sped up and I sighed. What the heck? They want us to get a speeding ticket just to take care of there stupid, annoying and obnoxious son? Why, grandma! Why!? I swear. I wish she was still alive. I would be at my old school. No bullying, no uniform, no maid work and best of all... I wouldn't be in this situation! We got out and were in Shin's room in about three minutes. Mr. and Mrs. Grad left and I sighed. We made it in time but it was pointless, all George was doing was getting him food, helping him to the bathroom, making sure he was warm and all this other pointless stuff.
All I had done was sit there, watch George do everything he didn't have to do. Then, Shin finally told him to go home but poor me had to stay there.
"Your brother really is an idiot," Shin said munching on his fries. "He does everything we tell him. Doesn't he have a mind of his own?"
"Well... excuse him for doing his job. Also, your lucky that your hurt and my legs are broken because you'd be knocked out right now." I grabbed some of his fries.
"Why did you even bother to take this job?"
"Well..." I told him the whole story.
