We got home and George took me up to my room. He left after he left me at the door and then I rolled into my room and then landed on my bed, tears coming down to where I cried myself to sleep.
I was woken up to waffles on my lap and I ate, feeling fresh tears on my face. I ate my waffles, drank my orange juice and then did the usual schedule and then sadly rolled down to the elevator I waited and then I got down to the floor seeing all the Grads, including jerky mc asshole. I sighed and then rolled over. I grabbed my crutches on my there and slowly hopped over. I was still in a lot of pain but I was feeling a lot better, except now since Shin was here. I finally made it over and then Mrs. Grad took me into a hug.
"Oh River!"
"Um...?"
"We saw you leave the hospital yesterday in tears! Are you okay?"
"Uh..." I glared at Shin but, decided not to say a thing. "Oh, that. I'm fine, just the pain really got to me that's all." I sighed. I wanted to tell on him but, there really wasn't anything to tell on. Except the fact that he was a jerk and I hated his guts, plus, that I would hate to get emotional again. Also... because I was hungry. I talked to them for a little bit, and then after awhile I went out to say that I was going to make me a sandwich. They excused me and so I did, except I forget my crutches and then had to stand up myself. I grabbed the bread and then I fell, but... my had fell on the knife and I screamed. When they came running into the kitched I was crying, but I hid my hand so they couldn't see it.
"River are you okay!?" George yelled.
"Uh... umm... I'm fine. Perfect." I was holding back the scream that was about to come. They all sighed in relief... though there really isn't any for me. They all left, so I thought that I could pull my hand out from hiding.
"Shit," I said. Looking around for a towel to cover it up for now.
"Yeah, you are perfectly fine," I heard Shin say. I frowned.
"I was, though I was in pain, I was fine. Then, you talked and ruined my happy moment."
"Aww... I'm sorry." He walked out of the room and I sighed in relief. He was the last person I wanted to see. I turned around to put the bread in the back of the counter for later. I turned around and there was Shin, standing there with an first aid kit.
