Just when he was coming to grab the next victim someone walked into the room and called him out. He sighed out of anger and then walked out of the room, dropping the knife while he was at it. I grabbed it, and cut everyone's ropes which helped them cut mine. I stood up, and feel back down. I wasn't feeling good, the room was spinning, and my blood was dripping away from me.
"River," Rick said, crouching down. "We are screwed."
"Really? What gave you that idea?" After I said that, I heard two familiar voices yelling my name, and they weren't the people stuck in the room with me. I sighed, it sounded like Shin and George, but they would never come here. I mean come on, it's just simple logic to stay away from here. After I saw a blur of a face, and the person saying, "River! Are you okay?" I saw nothing but blackness.
When I saw the light, I first that 'Oh monkey jumpers, I'm dead', but then I saw that it was just a hospital light. I tried to sit up, but the pain in my stomach wouldn't let me, so I gave up and just sat there. I thought about how come I hadn't died of loss of blood already because we were stuck in a room for a LONG time.
"Eh, well just look on the bright side River. It wasn't your time to go," I said to myself.
"River is awake!" I heard a group of people say, making me jump.
"Holy cows! Don't do that! I'm injured and you scared me!" I said quietly, holding my stomach in pain. I looked over and saw George. "George... are you okay?"
"Yeah, right now you are more important, and by the way he went to jail. It's all over."
"Thank goodness. Well... it's over for now." I said, looking at the sky.
3 year later
Well, a lot has happened. George ended up loosing his battle to cancer, but it's okay. I still visit his grave, I celebrate his birthday, and lots of other things... though every time I visit his grave I break down into tears, but I don't go to his grave alone. I'm now 20 years old, graduated, an astophysicist, and married to a person I never expected I would marry. Can you guess? Yeah it's Shin. Diamond and Kiro got married, Nate, my sexy best friend/blind date ended up being gay, which made me love him even more.
Yeah, we are all friends, still together. I have two children, twins, Jenny and James. they are turning 1 years old on November 3rd. Oh yeah! Shin did become an author, and he is still writing in the journal about his life. He said he won't sell it until he dies, which isn't possible, so I told Jenny and James to sell it for him cause ghosts can't do much... though I'm not sure they understood me saying that to them. Well, I'll tell them when they can. Also, you probably guessed it, but yes it was George and Shin who came to save us. How they found us? That's a secret that George took to his grave, and Shin won't tell me. Strange secret to take to your grave, huh?
So yeah, life seems great for me, and well for everyone else. Mr. Jones was sentenced to death because of all the people he has murdered. Rick and I now keep in touch and he is now married to Shina's sister, Kirsti. Everything's a happy world for us. For now...
