I woke up to my awesome music alarm, and once again the band was Bullet For My Valentine. I grabbed everything I needed, double checked to make sure I didn't miss anything, made me some breakfast and headed to the park. I thought that it would be a good idea to just eat at the park, you know, it's relaxing. So after I finished my food I waited for the train when I saw Zane heading up, and Tina running behind him. I laughing, Tina was making it so obvious.
"Hey guys," I said, fighting back more of my laughter.
"Hey Adalyn," Tina and Zane said together.
"Hey Zane," I said, remembered what happened last night. "If you ever see my sister again, and she's acting all weird, or yelling serial killer, just ignore it. I kind of planted something in her mind... if you don't mind."
"Ahaha, no. I kind of want to know how you got around to me being a serial killer though..."
"Ah, Adalyn. You never fail to tourchure your sister, do you?" Tina said, laughing.
"Me? Tourchure Lisa? Never!" I said sarcastically, and then the train came. All three of us sat together and I told Zane the story, he laughed and so did Tina. Even though I said that we were close as a lie to Lisa, I felt like Tina and I were actually becoming close friends with Zane... maybe. We sat there laughing and just having a good time when the train stopped, we then knew we were at school and Tina and I just groaned.
"Why are you guys so depressed about going to school? I mean, I understand it's school... but still."
"Trust me Zane," I said. "You will find out soon enough. It's going to happen today... it always does."
"What?"
"Like Adalyn said," Tina said, gathering her stuff. "You will find out soon enough."

We walked up to our class and talked quietly between us three. It kind of felt weird talking to three people at this school. We were the first ones there, and so we gradually saw the empty classroom become filled with bodies hoping that they won't be next soon, then the bell rang and our teacher came in. We all grabbed our books and listened to our teacher, we listened and yawned, and then we saw the light. "Today, Bob Smith and Joe Johnson are getting the punishment. Everyone please remain quiet and calm. We can hear the torture going on outside, so it's best to be quiet. Thank you." We all sat there in silence. Zane looked over our way and was about to say something but we shushed him immediately before he has a chance.
We sat there, hearing the screams and their bones being crunched. That was how quiet we were, even though they were outside we could still hear it. "Bob Smith and Joe Johnson are dead, and the reason why they got their punishment was for not doing their homework. Goodbye, and have a nice day, and remember... do what you're told." Then that was it, the light was gone, there was no announcer voice and it.
It was lunch time so Tina and I scooted our desks together and Zane's desk soon followed.
"Okay, what just happened?" Zane said, I could tell this was a major shock.
"The punishment. That's what happened. You do one thing wrong, and then your dead. That's the way this school works, that's why we told you to transfer, but it's too late now."
"Why?"
"Well, once you see the punishment, or hear about it then you can't leave. You are stuck in this school until you graduate," I said, taking a bite out of my sandwich. I looked at Zane's food, "You gonna eat any of that, cause if you won't, I will." Tina was just eating her food in shock, she hasn't said a word at all. I think she was hatching a plan.
"Why did this happen?" Zane said, pushing his food towards me.
"The founder of this school wanted to make a perfect world, it was his dream. So he thought of the idea of making a school to where the good will live and the bad will die. He thought that if everyone followed rules, got great jobs, then the world would be perfect. There would be no crime there would just be love, peace, and everyone would be afraid to do anything except to listen. He also had a fasination with death, which contributed to this idea."
"Why didn't anyone stop it?"
"He had kids so he raised his kids the same exact way he made this school. He had at least ten kids, and he killed at least six of them because they didn't listen. He told his kids that they need to continue this school and the way it runs, he wanted his dream to live even when he was dead. So the kids kept doing that, and they raised their kids the same way they were raised, so the school just stayed like this. No changes at all." I put everything back where they belonged and then I put up my lunchbox and I gave Zane back his food.
"That's messed up! What is wrong with this world?"
"Everything..." I said, and right when Zane was about to say something else class had started. I waited for the bell to ring, and when it did, I sighed with relief. I headed to the train with Tina and Zane. I was getting worried about Tina because she still hadn't said anything. When we all got on the bus, Tina pulled Zane's head and my head close to hers and she whispered what she had been thinking all day, "If nobody else will stop the way this school runs, then we should be the ones who change it. We do this for us, everyone and everything. We have to end this for now and forever..."
