What We Don't Get

Poetry By: Amy Cook

People who have been hurt the worst don't seem to understand why other's who have a wonderful life get upset all the time.
So in some lines I'm trying explain that for the human kind we hurt badly even if it's the stupidest thing because that's the hardest it has ever gotten in our lives.

What We Don't Get

He told me he loved me and I gave it my all but then he broke us up

I'm torn inside and out from all the pain I feel in my heart

Whine, whine, whine you lucky girl for trouble has not strucked in your untouched world

Pain by words that cannot heal my wounded heart that has broken me more then you will ever be revealed

You can meant while I break behind your mindless mind

Don't say your hurt or broken you don't know the real of a darken life

But truth be told both hurt the soul and neither one can comprehend

The truth of it all is even if it is the smallest hurt you will still feel as broken as the one who has been crushed to days end

Pain is on the scale of what we know, not what other's know
