Fall is here
this is for sure
Not many leaves this year,
just the cold to endure.

I've traded my tank tops
and my fishing gear,
turned in my flip flops,
for cold winter wear.

Put up the bar-b-cue,
Got out the anti-freeze,
Switched my swimming suit,
for heavy sweaters and long sleeves.

My ball cap turned beenie,
My flip flops now boots,
My mittens to warm me,
My tank top now a winter suit.

Now Springs turned to Summer,
And Summer skipped fall,
Winter is here,
With no warning at all.
