She's masking her feelings, running from the right.

Cowering in fear, she's out of sight.

Let her run, let her be free.

She'll hold the lock, if you turn the key.

She's letting you in, like never before.

Just rush up and gently open the door.

It's not as easy as she makes it sound.

But she's lost, going unfound.

She tries to tell you, but what will that do?

Well, I'm not too certain, but I have a clue.

It'll make her uneasy, stomach start to turn.

Like you lit a match, she's starting to burn.

Don't let her slip away.

Or her life will dim to gray.

She'll never be the same with you.

Never get to see her all the way through.

She's masking her feelings, running from the right.

Cowering in fear, she's out of sight.

But maybe she's wrong, so wrong indeed.

She cries out, "oh let me be freed."

Her hands will tremble, near you, she'll shake.

For she sees in your eyes, only her heart ache.

She's never wanted something so bad.

It may be something she's never had.

But she has a tendency to lose, what she wants most to gain.

Even if she goes through excruciating pain.

It's something she doesn't want you to see.

This is where she confides in me.

I hold all her secrets, I know her game.

In her heart, you hold the flame.

You make her so silly, so happy, so down.

Sometimes her smile, turns to a frown.

She likes you too much, to let you just fall.

She'll be there to catch you, just make the call.

But maybe she's wrong, so wrong indeed.

She cries out, "oh let me be freed."
