Day Dreams
Silence conquers, like an invading army
Eyes wide open, refusing focus, oblivious
Conjured images, arresting control
Unsolicited; appearing on the visual cortex

Captivated by self- indulgent scenarios
Devoid of consciousness; Innocent pleasure
Free from accountability, self-absorbing
Inflated dopamine, gratification, satisfaction
*
Unrestricted by moral and physical rules
Transcending all barriers, limitless
Scarcely guided, uncontrolled thought
Condensing time in visual fantasy
*
A liminal state of wish-fulfillment
Embellished with lack of censorship
An escape from the boring and mundane
Advantageous for composers and writers
