I always waited for you to say,
I love you son in a different way,
I always wanted to be at your side,
You thought of me never capable;
And shoved me away,
For what I am today;
I always feel guilty when I look at my face,
You always accuse me for what I’ve become;
Never realizing you are the one to blame,
The feelings that you have locked inside;
I need you to pour them outside,
You could’ve saved me far back;
When this happiness within me was fading,
The sullen silence in your anger,
Has made my weakness more stronger,
Even If I try to break my habit,
Nothing would cause me to stop it,
As the years have passed away;
I write my feelings today,
Hoping you would read them tomorrow;
And understand,
Why I was like that yesterday!
