Hidden Secrets

When deep I look into your eyes,

I see anger,..hurt..and pain,

So well, you cover up these feelings,

For fear of laughter and shame.

Wrong,is not what you feel,

But why you feel you must pretend,

Why put on a brave face for the world?

For me? Your soulmate and best friend.

You need not cover up,

For straight through you I can see,

Hurt! Building up inside you,

Please, why don't you talk to me?

Fear of misunderstanding?

Fear of a broken heart?

Please,trust me my Angel,

For never shall we be apart.

Block me out no more and let me in,

For your shield I shall be,

As for hurt or broken or torn apart,

Never,..We shall be!
