Oblivion
By: Kristyn D’Angiolillo
Falling,
Wind whippingmy face,
Tight knots inmy stomach,
Pain the core of my very heart.
Down,
Down,
Forever into the abyss,
Falling into the never-ending hole,
Derived from my own shovel.
I dug this hole.
There is no one else to blame.
I stood precariously on the edge,
Until the day came.
I tripped
I lost what little grip I had,
And so here I am,
Fallen into oblvion.

I loved it yesterday when I read it and I still love it now! And yes, I know you have no idea where it came from. But I don't care, I still love it! Love ya girl!

Very deep. I see it as something that can be taken multiple ways. I see it as creating depression for oneself. I kind of felt like that today. Not to the extreme (or I wouldn't still be here), but enough to shake me up.

I'm sorry you felt down today. I hope you cheer up soon!! I'm glad you liked my poem. It kinda comes from doing things you know you shouldn't do but you simply can't resist. And then one thing leads to another and you find yourself in this pit that only you could've dug with no way out. Depressing I know, but it happens. Life can suck. I feel better writing it out when I think about it instead of doing something drastic. Anyway, I'm rambling! Thank you for the comment and I hope tomorrow is better!
