Poetry By: Blackdragon99

My views from my grandfathers funeral. I was six at the time so excuse my weird thoughts.

I have been left down the creak

The stench of failing strong in my nose

Well to be honest this muddy bed reeks

I have ceased my endless yearning

As I stare at the blood red rose

I cease longing for what was burning

I stare at your pale face

I notice you in an endless doze

I notice you hair out of place

Others around me break and weep

But then again who knows

Maybe you have just gone to sleep

You are lowered into the ground

My heart beat quickens then slows

I let you go without a sound

I remember all our good times

I remember that everything dies but first grows

Grandfather I bid you goodbye rhymes
