Midnight Sun

Poetry By: Blackdragon99
Other

A poem of one side to me. I know it doesn't seem it but I can be two very different people. That is what I am trying to say. This is a quieter side supressing my more bright insane side.

Don't waste your time with me

For I can never love

Don't try and change my mind

By the heavens high above

I don't need your pity

I don't need your remorse

I hold back the monster inside

Sunlight bathe in remorse

Regrets of a past imperfect

But what is done is done

Haunt my dreams of serenity

Moonlight touches midnight sun

A rose forever after

I hide in the bright light

You will never even notice me

Until the dead of night

By then it is too late

I am already far away

Fears, regrets, memories

A melody holds sway

I am hiding in the light

You barely even notice me

That is until I want to be seen

I am shy, unheard, unseen

I am so bright inside

Yet present myself dark and done

But don't you even understand

I am midnight sun.
