It's hard to feel when you have been broken

Betrayed and kicked in the teeth

Welcome to my life for two years

Hiding in the shadows of my fears

Then I became bold for a moment

Showed my writing to the light

Bit my nails as I anxiously awaited

The comments of people fated

Two people new to me laughed

I nervously begun talking

My shadows claimed me along with something

I started writing Committed to the nothing

I poured my soul hidden by laughs and smiles

I wondered if anyone could understand

The two new people reached out their saving hands

We discovered we liked the same bands

So I was saved from my depression

The blade left my wrist unscathed

Then all this came crashing down

Because of a fucking circus attention seeking clown

My new found brother slipped into his depression

After been so close to free

My sister's rage flared

The stupid fool's fate ensnared

Coldly calm and polite words

Yet our souls burned with rage

My brother still cannot hold hate

But to me the fool has sealed his fate

I allow my fingers to flow

Sister and brother laughing on msn

Angry I post what has driven laughter insane

And now I am taunted with bitter shame

My understanding and forgiveness I try to show

While hiding a bitter heart

Instead I am rewarded with abuse in form of poem

How now my words are now blunt and solemn

Am I really my brother's toy?

Or is your view screwed?

That must be it for I am no man's slave

I sense your fear your soul to save

To long have I rambled on here

I use my humour to hide death and fear

So now I have broken tense and changed my beat

I wonder now if your eyes can leave your feet
