Can a heart not be in so much pain?

Your cruelty is unbelievable
I never thought I’d come across it
The hatred in your words
The anger of your tone
You used to be someone else
Then one month makes you turn
Someone makes you turn?
Now all I feel is fear
Fear from what I used to know
I used to know you
I expected so much with you
A potential future, happiness
But this pain pumping my heart
Is not what I was expecting
Not from you
Are your eyes not kind with laughter
When you speak to me anymore?
No, of course not
Because your cruelty is unbelievable
And the pain you’ve created
Has caused me to wilt away
Burnt from your hatred
