On your wedding day---
You will wear---
black and white---
white will leave you at the alter---
*********
The cake is made of huckleberry---
with Houndog frosting---
The plastic flowers sing---
You are at the wrong wedding---
*********
On your lonely moon of honey---
you will mourn ---
your missing spouse the virgin---
who left your depraved house---
*********
Then to suffer the world---
you will run to make a law---
no weddings, cake, or moons---
in Whited keyless rooms---
*********
A ban on love for fear----
that money will be lost---
And never really chasing---
the true and heavy cost---
*********
Brides and grooms abhor you---
whisper of your death----
and live to break your foolish law-
under penalty of breath----
*******
you deserved no wedding---
glad you lost your day---
and you really are not funny---
we rue your grey payday---
*******
love sneaks out and parties down-
anger stays at home---
try and ban its progress---
you will stay alone---
********
Fear a bitter mistress---
fucks its partner guilt---
binds you in its tacky web---
the wedding house you built---
*********
Then one fettless hour---
a tiny light shines in---
a beauty you desire---
their hand again to win---
*********
What have you done, oh idiot law-
you banned your last deep joy---
condemning future to your past-
lost your wedded glory....
**********
they are wearing white---
knowing what it means---
an empty alter crapped on ---
your selfish jaded dream---
***********
You are wearing black---
prepared for your last way---
A new house built upon you---
its the law of death you play---
***********
