I sit here still loving you.
And trying not to cry.
You broke my already fragile heart,
Yet you promised you wouldn’t.
I let you in even though everything inside of me
Was telling me not too.
But I thought I could trust you.
You said pretty words
And sent things to make me smile.
I fell in love.
Once you got inside me
You broke me.
Now I’m shattered.
There are pieces of me everywhere.
Thrown here and there.
Like you never even cared.
I still see you sometimes.
You look through me as though…
I’m invisible.
As though…
It all meant nothing…
