My Computer
She is tiny and small with much gig
Stands on my desk, remember I said she wasn't very big
Ram and byte and also a window warm and bright
My favourite friend when I can't sleep at night
With her I can speak of my life' tales
Write stories and poetry and read loving mail
She even shares in my deepest pain
Knowing she will listen over and over again
I tell her things of the present, future and past
She stores them in her brain forever to last
When I sign in she warmly smiles and say's "Hi! This is me!"
Then I feel welcome as welcome as can be
Grammar and spelling mistakes she corrects
Tells me the time and dates that my life does affect
I can speak with my grandchildren who live in far away lands
And through this screen I even get to touch their hands
Keeping me updated with news, weather and fashion
She has widened my knowledge with many wondrous things
Through her I have seen the world with every aspect that life brings
Brought to me the one who fills my life with passion
All memories and photo's she stores faithfully to
And allows her search engine to find something new
She keeps me sane no matter how crazy I really am
Allows me to even use a webcam
She has taken me on journeys where I never have been
Showed me pictures beautiful and mean
She is the keeper of the pages in my heart

For sure from her I will never part
