Eventually we all have to face our past. Sometimes, it chooses to face us instead.

Reappearance

Whispers

~

What do they say?
So softly; suductively
Telling secrets; revealing lies

~

Spoken to silence
Those who can't listen - don't.
This is where the fake turn away.

~

Do not tell them!
They do not want to hear!
Truth is Overrated...or not?

~

The sands of time reverse now
Things I ignored come to pass
What importance do they possess?

~

Surely, there is a meaning behind those words
A final grasp at redemtion, maybe?
But oh how it pains to hear.

~

Inable to quiet those horrendous voices
Now all may hear them
They know what I could not reveal

~

Facing the truth; fleeing ignorance
Repent and let go.
What are they saying?

~

Screams
