Seize the day
Shall it be to cease the day
More correctly, to stop time in it's tracks
To stop breathing, heart beating
The world stops turning
I thought that I had grasped you in that moment
In that blink of an eye
When your atoms stopped vibrating
Frozen
A statue, like the Venus
But really I was frozen
Frozen by fear
Seized by inertia
Now you cease to exist to me
Like the tragic reflection of Narcissus
My fate sealed
The true meaning revealed
A single teardrop captured in descent
Like you captured my heart
Now I must pay
