Lately, I've been dreaming
Of what, I'm not so sure
Strange car rides in early 60s models
Amusement park rides
Tall towers that lightning is afraid to strike
But really wants to
The edgewater of the sea
Lapping and caressing the shoulders of sand
Surging, receding
Climaxing and collapsing
Infinite conversations with applause
From cackling madness
To silent serenity
The chaos and the void
Sand and saltwater
In my eyes as I awake again
