You were in a place sinister and alien
Where sparks flew from receptors
Sizzling manifestations that bore anguish
Of nightmare
Of wings that couldn't lift you
You, yourself, an ungodly storm
Formed of your own tangled desires
But all of this, like everything, ever
Must coalesce
Into form
For symmetry's sake
To release confusion from inside
The chaos in the keyhole of your mind
Is now fuel for the fire
Running wild to inspire
The steel of your will
Now feather in hand
