Never could understand why people cage animals

I guess we've caged ourselves,

And everything else shall follow

Good excuse

Maybe for their own protection

For our entertainment

To save their species

Maybe a species has it's time to extinguish

I mean we're the civilized, thinking creature, human

Are we exclusive in our awareness?

Are we the truly the rulers of this kingdom?

We even cage germs, and bacteria

Is life merely this struggle for supremecy?

Why do I contemplate these notions?
