Pounding feet,

Rythmic beat,

As I run down the sidewalk.

Cuts all over,

Moving slower,

Where is the end of the sidewalk?

Heart is Bursting,

Pursuer is thirsting,

Must get to the end of the sidewalk!

Right behind me,

He is happy,

I wont make it to the end of the sidewalk.

Cold teeth pierce pierce skin,

Freezing in the cold wind,

Why am I weakening upon the sidewalk?

The hunt is over,

He pulls me closer,

I wish for death on this sidewalk!

Picing me up like in my dreams,

Whispers of love and sweet things,

Carrying me back down the sidewalk.

confusion greater than ever before,

A new desire for something more,

Changing on my way back down the sidewalk?

Fear gone,

Could sing a song,

Becoming new on the sidewalk!

New eyes,

see the prize,

Falling in love on the sidewalk.

Never a hunt but a love game,

Not lack of life but with loosing the shame,

And my life is perfected on the sidewalk.
