Tears of red

bleeding blue

whatever happened to me and you

not even a poem can

explain what went wrong

but that was years and yet a day ago

A forgotten place

and me out like a summer breeze

this is whatever was you and me

The sky spread wide

the night a navy tide

but that was so long ago too

A forgotten place

and me out like a summer breeze

this is whatever was you and me

A sunset, a painted sky

dawns light colors fading bright

but that was the beginning of night

A forgotten place

and me out like a summer breeze

this is whatever was you and me

your trailing touch

and dark eyes

my greatest joy became my despise

The tree's were tall

and the grass was green

and yet it still seems like a dream

The hill was tall

but thats where we would go

just you and I

A forgotten place

and me out like a summer breeze

this is whatever was you and me

lost in the night

a flickering light

to which I am still finding my way home

A forgotten place

and me out like a summer breeze

this is what you did to me.
