The Four Powers

Poetry By: FrozenDreamer

How even though Man tries to tame nature, it's impossible.

Nature will always win.

Man builds tall buildings and creates new inventions,

But when nature fights back,

Tall buildings crumble, inventions shatter.

Man tried to tame the elements,

The heat of Fire.

The freedom of Air.

The refreshing Water.

The nurturing Earth.

Fire causes mass destruction, leaving just singed remains in it's path.

Air tears through everything, causing chaos at every turn.

Water washes away Man's buildings with a simple wave.

And when Earth trembles, nothing is left behind.

Nothing can control nature.

No computer or device.

We must learn to respect that power,

Instead of harming it.

With fuming cars and smothering factory smoke.

So I ask of the elements.

Fire, burn away contamination!

Air, clear away the fumes!

Water, clean the world of the impurity!

Earth, regrow what has been cut away!
