Blessed ,Wonderful Christmas
As a child, Christmas was special, perfect joy!
All around, a great thrill for bright eyed girl, boy
There was a tradition that stayed in your heart
Christmas meant love and family, never to part
Oh, Christmas is not just a day, it's a frame of mind
Family warmth, sweet comfort, there's no other kind!
But Christmas has changed to a crazy spending time
People are frantic in stores, can't hear the bells chime
Yes, Christmas is lovely, we need to think Christ's Day
See a forgotten picture, feel thankful as we sing, pray
Pretty decorations, the tree, and good food bring out love
With family and friends, peace is an, Always Present Dove
