My Backyard Paradise
Serenity, 2011
I love to go in my backyard, a place to relax, sit and rest
Throughout the seasons, it’s one ideal spot, comfort at best
In winter, I enjoy the snow covered trees, pure white, still
Walking in my path, slow and deep of a soft, special thrill
In my yard, I gaze at lovely birds that welcomes warm spring
Then I anxiously decorate the trees, a joyous personal thing!
Flowery summer is time for picnic, party, cook with pleasure
My yard is a place for family, friends and thoughts to treasure!
When precious fall enters, a blazing sight of leaves that wave
You need a camera to catch the beauty, shiny moments to save
There will always be my backyard, my haven. Thank you sweet Mother Nature for everything around us, you’re a wondrous haven!!
Now, that it is 2011, I will enjoy this cozy spot to celebrate life!
