Painfully Trudging up the Hill

Did you ever have a day, it's hard to get out of bed

Something's not right here, deep gloom in your head

Even though that sun is beaming with powerful glow

You're aching, just grim unpleasant mood to show

Every rose has its thorns

Yes, everyone will feel sad, pains, scared at one time

It's ok to let it all out, life is not always perfect rhyme

Do the things that make you smile, let joy gradually in

Rest and sleep can help, needed escape as dreams spin!

Every rose has its thorns

Misery is painfully trudging up the hill, so clearly true

But think, does it come close to what Jesus went through?

Painfully trudging up the hill, he did it for us, each one of you

Dark, cold skies of Good Friday, even his mother felt pain too

Every rose has its thorns

We all have troubles to bare, sad, serious, tragic and incredible destruction but with the good will of people, the cross isn't so heavy to carry. Prayers are a blessing too.

Every cloud has a silver lining, hopefully!

Amen.
