Holding you Closer

Poetry By: greenglasses

A person lets their imagination take control to create someone to comfort them to sleep...

When I lay down all that is heard is my breathing

my body instinctively curls around the pillow thats there

imagining you, your face ...hands hold me closer

I taste your tasteless lips and think

am I the only one dreaming my desires when awake?

holding this pillow as if it was you

Ill make you real.

Here in my arms

all that is heard is our breathing

slow and relaxed

my heart's beating as yours is now

I can finally close my eyes and really dream

as I suffer against you....

my imagination...

my creation..

my never.

It is, as it ever was
