How I allowed lust to overtake my moral values

Insisted upon lunch

How could I refuse?

Asked me what I fancied,

Told him he could choose.

Met me at my workplace,

Following Saturday,

Could he tell from my face

Wanted my wicked way?

Desperate for each other,

It started in the car,

Made it to the restaurant,

But food did not get far,

The trip had been racy,

Only one hand on wheel,

Though menu looked tasty,

Was more of an ordeal!

Left soon as ate starters,

Only one thing on our mind,

We wanted afters,

Just different sort of kind.

He didn't have ID,

Hotel turned us away,

So it was left to me,

To find somewhere to play;

As always I was charming,

Quickly secured key,

Though found it alarming,

To have to show identity.

Very close to fucking,

Before we reached the door,

Mr D was clucking,

As clothes fell to the floor.

Removed my wedding ring,

And noticed he did not

For him another fling?

I didn't give a jot!

Said it was his first time,

I didn't disbelieve,

Just a victimless crime?

I chose to be naïve,

Although his choice of words,

Made the waters muddy,

And though I was disturbed,

Accepted just, 'Fuck Buddy'.
