Darkness shadows over me,
Pains of sadness caress my heart,
Your smile is the only light,
And in this lonely night I must embark,
The earth feels soft to my touch,
Nature whispers real,
The wind brings its soothing lisp,
As the love with in me sings for you,
I would wait an eternity for this darkness to be lifted,
Should my body fail me, my spirit will live on,
And the touch of your hand,
Will sail us beyond,
