She sits by the grave.
Of her brother.
Killed by giants.
In a far-away land.
In a war none here,
Will even feel.
Except those few people,
who have felt the Wrath of War.
She sheds a tear.
And offers a flower,
in hopes these small
pitiful gifts,
will reach his soul
in Heaven.
She stands.
Then turns away
for the last time,
picking up a suitcase
filled with memories.
And as her mother
drives her away,
she sees an angel
more beautiful than even
words can tell.
It scoops up the tear.
And cups the flower
in its hands.
And it flys away.
She smiles,
and one more tear,
goes to her brother in Heaven,
killed by giants
in a far-away land.
