I see you watching from a distance, just like you've always been.
Afraid to step into the clouds, to make amends.
Victory comes to those who try
to finish the race before it started.
If you live the lies that you created
Then search your mind for the truth,
You'll leave this ground don't look behind
or become their machine, and not the man.
Never advancing or returning, just to be.
"What's the point of breathing," you say "if dying becomes the greed?"
It's the knowledge that turns us to the fear
That causes the pain deep down inside.
Like conserving the dollar throughout the year
Just to notice, you're left with a dime.
I see you watching from a distance, just like you've always been.
