TIME

Sometimes I wish to go back in time
to go back to the time when I shined
to find the place I fit in
the time that I was happy

Go back in time and right all thats wrong
go back and find where I belong
because my whole life is a sad song
a song that surely won't last very long

Fly into the reaches of outer space
to find my own kind of place
to plead my lengthening case
to see my lover's face

I would die to find my time
I am willing to commit any crime
I just want to shine
And I want you to be mine

I'll try and do that, and thank you for the comment. Its kind of ironic is "A time to shine" and yet the poem is dark.... I never thought of it that way.
