“Life is sacrifice”
Said one wise man
But in my mind, that will not suffice
I always thought “I will change that if I can”
In my town,
Everyone is cynical
Because of that one wise man that went on down
Because of that one phrase that doctors claim is clinical
Life is not sacrifice
But only if you believe
If you live life to its fullest
Life will give back in its glorious tapestry
