Dealing with death

Poetry By: maystar
Other

Death. The loss of a person.
It is like a door shutting,
that can’t ever be opened again.
It hits hard,
like a grenade.
It hurts you.
It is the biggest change,
that you could possibly go through,
because you have to learn,
to be stronger. Try not to cry.
To carry on with life,
without forgetting about them.
But when you try to,
it ‘s like you’ve forgotten completely,
and you don’t care.
So remember how much they meant to you,
and don’t let their death,
and absence, weigh you down.
Let it inspire you daily.
