You came to me at school today,
All happy, cheery;, smiley and jolly.
Then you greeted me with the most courtesy,
And then you disappeared again.
The way you act confuses me.
You stayed angry;
And when everyone turned away,
You came back to me.
You acted like nothing had happened at all!
You hurt me and it did not concern you?
How much I wondered to myself,
Why this was happening to me?
To you it was a long time ago,
But to me just a day.
You betrayed my trust and then you lied!
As if it was just a little of significant.
I was a fool,
To actually trust you.
The thing you didn’t realise
Is that it takes time to heal.
