The crunch of the frost bitten leaves under my foot,
Glistening icicles swaying above my head,
Helps the smile etch larger upon my face.
Laughter echoing around frosty field,
Children's snow angels chasing round one another,
Cries & shrieks while snowballs fly,
The sun fighting through the mist.
Cover's and snuggle's wrapped into one,
Warmth by the fire,
Flames merrily crackling licking at the logs,
Christmas and family time due,
Laughing rebounding off our smiles.
