Thoughts crashing through my head
Late at night when I lay in bed
Sleep won’t come to me at night
Although I try with all my might
I stare at the ceiling I stare at the floor
I can’t take this anymore
My life is ruled by insomnia blue
All of this caused by you
You left me on my own to weep
You took everything including sleep
I think of you all day long
Was it something I did wrong?
Why did you leave me why did you go?
I don’t think I will ever know
You left so suddenly without a word
My friends all rallied when they heard
From the world I need to hide
I need to mourn my miscarried child.
