Warm peaceful safe, I want to be here forever
This must be heaven, I don’t want to leave here, EVER
What’s happening, someone’s lifting me
They’re taking me somewhere, Oh I wish I could see
And now they’re washing me, please just let me lie
Please put me back there or I’m going to cry!
They’ve wrapped me in a blanket, well, that’s a bit better
And they’re handing me to someone (have I ever met her?)
But she’s beautiful, she’s smiling, Oh please say it is
Please be my mother because that would be Bliss!
She’s holding and kissing me, Oh this is the best
My mothers an angel and I’m truly blessed
But who is the other that’s standing beside her?
He’s touching my hand, it must be my father!
I am so happy that I may even cry
My first day of life is just floating by
Some things are strange, not frightening, just new
But when God gave out parents, I was first in the queue
Warm peaceful safe, I want to be here forever
This must be heaven, I don’t want to leave here, EVER
