I suppress the hate, until I feel numb
I'm lost in this abyss we call life with no one to blame but
I'm my worst enemy.
In my darkest hour a light creeps into this labyrinth-Lighting
the way like the moon in the night sky.
We are so far apart and yet I feel your pain-Your joy.
I can feel your heart's beat.
Your mere words put my regrets to sleep
If I could be with you, I would shield you from the cold world.
If I could see you I'd absorb your pain-For I know that I deserve
it far more than you ever could.
Perhaps destiny will lead us to each other.
Maybe I'll find you deep in the maze.
I haven't seen your face and yet I feel as if we are close-Closer
than blood relatives.
Maybe, with God on our side, we'll meet each other.
But, until then I'll do my best to confide in you-To share your
pain and hopefully remove it for good.
