Tornado by nhilton

Poetry By: nhilton108

teaching my students how to write short poems and in remembrance of those that just lost their lives in the recent tornadoes. Keep in mind my poems are basic, due to the level of special education students I teach.

The sirens are just a blaring

For those of us who are daring

To stay outside and look

As the tornado throws a book

Then we see the funnel

And we run for the tunnel

As the tornado rips the house

And the rain begins to souse

Everything in sight

And now it is night.
