Living Doll

Medium sized doll
ageless, stuffed with cotton
Looks like birth and feels like memory,
but it smells rotten
Its tag might reveal
the year it was boughten
And you might think its
everything but forgotten

But it's a Living Doll
It cried when you put it away
Now you take it out again
Todays your final day
You taught that doll to hate
By ignoring its existence
Now it'll get its revenge
For your cruel, heartless resistance

I Like You

I like you but I don't know
if I should tell you so
Because if you don't want me
I don't want you to go
If you reject me, would you expect me
not to care?
No matter what happens
I'll always be there
I love to look into your eyes
when you look at me
But I know you only like me
because "Im funny"
And at least you don't look at
me with apathy
But if you want sometime,
we should talk seriously

Because I Like You

Esoteric Curiosa

I was born to be a hobo
Nothing better to do
I cannot play an oboe
and I often feel blue
And if you ask me
"Whats the matter with you?"
I'll tell you its my
Esoteric Curiosa

When my body hurts, it doesn't stop
I don't know why
I try to make it better
But I might as well just die
Because no matter what
its always on my mind
My
Esoteric Curiosa

As I come down after dawn
When the night is done
As I walk the rising streets
Before the days begun
I have to walk
because my feet are too tired to run
I'll be thinking of
My Esoteric Curiosa

When I'm finally admitted
And I have to come to grips
I've played all my notes
and boarded all my ships
And my final words will
have to grace my dying lips
I'll say I loved my
Esoteric Curiosa

Exploding Bananas

Ediths past is in her eyes
You don't need to meet her to realize
Shes very troubled and she often
can't stand life
Ediths face is like a childs
But her story is more adult
than not and wilder than most
peoples lies

If you could only see her
If you could only meet her
She might be very troubled
But no other girl can beat her

Edith doesn't mind
that I'm thinking all the time
Edith probably thinks
just as much as me
Edith is someone I
greatly admire
But shes someone who
I'd hate to be

If you could only see her
If you could only meet her
She might be very troubled
But no other girl can beat her

Coca Cola Bible

God descended from the Heavens
To the Earth he took command
And quickly people came to see him
People from all over the land
And when everyone had arrived
Waiting to see what he would say
God proudly proclaimed the words
That I repeat today:

Let There Be Coca Cola!

And then God went back to Heaven
And shared a Coke with his 17 wives
And the people all went home on trains
and drank Coca Cola all night
They couldn't believe this newfound glory
It took away their pain!
Nothing was the same
Though they still had trains (but thats a different story)

Let There Be Coca Cola!

Into Your Eyes

All my sorrows are gone
when I look into your eyes
Doesn't matter that I've waited so long
when I look into your eyes
And I cry cry cry so much when I have
to put up with your lies
But all of it is worth it
when I look into your eyes

Yesterdays troubled seem to stay with yesterday
When your eyes look at me in that most perfect way
Sometimes I want to leave you, sometimes I can't believe you
These things you do to me!
But when I look into your eyes, what can I say?

These times they never last
I want you to hold me
and tell me tomorrow will
never come
I want to live in your arms
I want to forget the lies
and I want to look
Into your eyes
as you look into mine

Second Glance

Sometimes I try too hard
I don't know just why
I do, but I do
It can't hurt to try
to figure out why
It can't hurt to try

She said to him, in the car,
in the passengers seat,
Sitting there, the two of them,
and their eyes did meet

What would a second glance mean
If the first one meant anything at all?

And they leaned forward to kiss
(it'd be funny if she'd miss)
but the lips locked,
like a heart lock and key
So desperatley

What would a second glance mean
If the first one meant nothing at all?

Same Ol Dog

Same ol dog
Stands outside
He has no home
He never hides
Just stands out there
Stares inside
With his black eyes
Maybe he's died?

All Without a Trace

Each day disappears
To week to month to year
Waiting outside my mind
For it to let me in
Each new love ends
before it begins

Daddy, where have you gone?
I could've sworn this time you were here to stay
The days, the months, the years
Have gone by
All without
a trace

I've got nothing better to do
Then to sit here and think of you
Because you were a big part
of my broken heart
Do you ever
think of me?

The Greatest

No one can judge you
They don't understand
They haven't yet realized
they haven't yet opened their eyes
to your street

No one can tell you no
They are just uptight
Yes is the right word for sure
Yes is real and Yes is pure
Yes it is

Don't look back for nothing
Then nothing will hold you back
Live your life your own way, man
No one can understand
You except you
