This is a project I had to do in science. I could do this or something else. I chose to do this even though I'm horrible at poetry. I had to pick an element and write a poem about some stuff i researched.
Hope you like ^^
THANK YOU SOO MUCH Darkfairy8907! You helped me so much on this AND stayed up with me to do it while working on your novel. I love you big sis! =) View table of contents...

Good for making jewelry and protecting spacecraft and satellites.
Old element, discovered in ancient times, 2600 B.C.
Looks yellow and is a soft metal that is extremely resistant to corrision.
Developed nuetrons and protons in gold is 118 nuetrons and 79 protons and is grouped in group 11 named the Coinage Metals.

I'm surprised you didn't put the first letters in yellow or close to gold.

But you're welcome for the help, anytime, just ask.

Science is poetry...what a cool concept!

The D might have been chosen a bit better...sort of the wrong connotation of the word "developed"; maybe like this:

Dense; a small brick of the 118 neutrons and 87 protons assembled in a gold atom weighs 27 pounds.

(After struggling several minutes to write that, I can appreciate how hard it was for you to come up with a good "D" word.)
