We often ponder about things that will happen

Death of ourselves, end of the world, sex.

Though we never really focus on what may happen to others

The death of your mom is like the feeling of your heart sinking into your stomach

Missing her love, touch, and voice

Asking the one question

Why did she go?

Standing in front of everyone watching you at a funeral home listening to them sob

As you speak the words of your loss

Wishing you could believe she's still with you

But what happens when you don't believe in what you do not see?

Then left to face the sad hopeless look of a little boy growing up

Barely understanding what happend

But smart enought to know

She's not coming back
