My Feeble Attempt To Kick-Start Your Heart
If you feel alone and like letting go,
then I just want you to know
that you’re not alone, so please don’t let go,
and if you’re reading these words then
you’re oh so strong.
My promise to you is that I am no liar,
and no matter how awful, no matter how dire,
until your last breath
I love you to death,
Please don’t use this to start your fire.
I’m asking stay here, and I’m asking
stay strong,
because I don’t know what I’d do with you gone.
So read this, my letter,
telling you it gets better
and you’ll be happy again before long.
