TO A VERY SPECIAL MOTHER;

THAT COMPARES TO NO OTHER

YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE

EVEN WHEN IT CAME TO FIXIN MY HAIR

ALWAYS COOKED THE MEALS TO FILL MY TUMMY

THEY WERE ALL SO YUMMY

YOU ALWAYS DRIED MY TEARS

WITH YOUR WORDS MAKING MY WAY CLEAR

YOU ALWAYS DROVE ME AROUND

NEVER LETTING ME DOWN

AT ALL MY EVENTS TO GIVE ME A CHEER

YEAR AFTER YEAR

YOU TAUGHT ME THE WISDOM OF GROWING UP

NEVER BEING TO ABRUPT

WE ALWAYS SPENT THOSE SPECIAL MOMENTS SHOPPING

YOU ALWAYS KEPT THINGS POPPING

EVEN NOW THAT IM A WOMAN; YOU ALWAYS CALL

STILL HELPING ME STAND TALL

NOW WE SHARE THE SPECIAL MOMENTS OVER COFFEE

EVEN NOW YOUR WORDS ARE SPOKEN SOFTLY

MAMA I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU SO
