Whisper something sweet,
Into these lowly ears of mine.
The songs you sang for me,
All strung on a vine.
Forever shall I remember,
Honey-dripped lyrics of joy,
For sugar is divine,
And so are your songs and whispers.
Lullabies that lull me into meaningful thoughts and smells,
Of caresses and nights that I cried alone,
Remembering pains me,
And yet your face,
Your voice,
Is forever ingrained into my soul and mind.
